About the Role
To strengthen the team, Squareflow is looking for an Odoo Finance & Controlling Consultant with a background in finance and controlling, paired with a strong interest in technology. In this role, the consultant will regularly engage with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs for aligning business and IT.
Responsibilities:

Analyze financial management needs and recommend solutions within or beyond Odoo

Lead and challenge business requirement gathering sessions

Act as a liaison between business teams and development, translating new requirements into Odoo functionality

Facilitate finance-related workshops for large Odoo implementations

Develop management reporting for clients, including P&L, cash flow, budgeting & forecasting, and margin analysis

Collaborate with junior team members on accounting migration projects

Build internal financial expertise and potentially create a dedicated team

Design and document testing strategies (following industry best practices) and manage test execution

Create training materials and documentation, and train new users (train-the-trainer approach)

Support end users in transitioning to the new tools

Implement processes to ensure ongoing data quality monitoring

Provide informative and well-organized demos for business teams

Contribute to the continuous growth and success of Squareflow
Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in a financial role
-
Initial experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo)

Project management skills and a solid understanding of business processes

Tech-savvy and eager to work with Odoo on a daily basis

A team player with the ability to inspire enthusiasm for finance within the company

Strong organizational skills and the ability to think strategically

Ability to work independently while being an effective team member

Familiarity with local accounting standards (BE GAAP, Lux GAAP, IFRS)

Creative and pragmatic problem-solving approach

Quick learner with a keen interest in digital solutions

Proficiency in French, Dutch, and English

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
