About the Role
Launch Ventures is looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join as an individual contributor, managing end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations. This role demands a strong understanding of business operations and Odoo’s functional modules to ensure the successful deployment and optimal use of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full cycle of Odoo ERP implementation projects, covering requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
- Analyze client business processes and transform them into functional requirements.
- Customize and configure Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR) based on client needs.
- Prepare documentation including functional specifications, user training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct user training sessions and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work closely with technical teams to manage custom development needs.
- Offer continuous functional support, troubleshoot challenges, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure project delivery is on track, within scope, and within budget.
- Stay informed on new Odoo releases and functionalities.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementation.
- Strong expertise in multiple Odoo functional modules.
- Proven skills in business process analysis and functional documentation.
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts and workflows.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client interaction skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working with US-based clients or in cross-cultural environments.
- Basic knowledge of Python or a technical understanding of Odoo’s architecture is an advantage.
