About the Role

The Odoo Developer Consultant will contribute to the development, customization, and integration of Odoo modules. The role involves creating clean, secure, and scalable code, ensuring proper system configuration, and supporting deployments. The position is hybrid, based in Brussels, and ideal for professionals comfortable working in structured, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components using Odoo
• Customize Odoo modules and design scalable solutions
• Implement user access control and security configurations
• Troubleshoot issues and apply fixes as needed
• Handle systems integration and configuration tasks
• Create and manage technical documentation
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases used by Odoo
• Participate in deployment processes and user support

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Odoo development and configuration
• Proficiency in Python, XML, and QWeb
• Familiarity with Odoo Studio for no-code customizations
• Experience managing Odoo roles, permissions, and security settings
• Understanding of the Odoo framework and API integrations
• Competency in PostgreSQL optimization and database management

Additional Skills & Knowledge

• Web security concepts and authentication protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect)
• Solid understanding of software design principles
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

Certifications (Preferred)

• PM² Agile
• BPMN 2.0
